I think that everything composed made a lot of sense. But, consider this, suppose you added a little content? I am not suggesting your content isn't good., however suppose you added a headline to maybe get people's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You could peek at Yahoo's front page and note how they create post headlines to get people to click. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab readers interested about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it could make your posts a little bit more interesting.
